Daily Rates
Daily rates will apply if you have a scheduled UPS pickup, or have a UPS contract that provides you with daily rates.
Retail Rates
Retail rates will apply if you ship from a UPS location, don’t have a payment account or scheduled pickup service with UPS, or you ship infrequently using a payment card.
Air Freight Rates
Air Freight is for larger shipments that may or may not require a pallet. This can include services like pickup, collection, delivery and customs clearance.

You can obtain a rate for shipments over 150 lbs using your customer’s less-than-truckload shipping information.
This type of shipping is ideal for businesses that ship to facilities not designed to handle pallets, don’t have receiving docks and don’t require lift gate service.
Important Updates
Updated Demand Surcharge information is now available for review, including Demand Surcharge rates for certain domestic shipments effective September 27, 2026.
Effective September 27, 2026, the Surge Emergency Fees applicable to U.S. exports and imports will be revised.. Details on these revised fees can be found using the following link:
Effective September 7, 2026, Disbursement Fee will update to 2.5% of Duties/Taxes paid or processed by UPS on behalf of the customer, with a minimum fee of $17.50.
Effective September 7, 2026, the Entry-Line Charge After First Three Lines will change to the Entry-Line Charge After First Five Lines. The fee will be $3.50 per line after the first five lines.

Effective August 3, 2026, the U.S. International Air-Export Fuel Surcharge will change. Details on these changes can be found using the link below:
Effective on or after August 2, 2026, a $5.00 per package Non-Compliant Label Fee will apply to each UPS Ground Saver package if the Customer fails to:
- Comply with the labeling requirements set forth in the UPS Guide to Labeling Supplement – UPS Ground Saver; or
- Use the latest version of an approved shipping system that meets UPS’s requirements at the time of shipment for processing UPS Ground Saver packages.
